Leifheit LinoProtect 400 Rotary Dryer 40m

A world first, the Leifheit LinoProtect 400 Rotary Dryer is a fantastic invention to help us Brits extend our outdoor laundry drying season. Now you won’t have to wait until the balmiest days of summer to dry the family’s washing outside, because the LinoProtect has its own integral weatherproof canopy – a waterproof and UV-proof ‘parasol’ to guard your load of washing from the perils of spring showers and erratic autumnal cloudbursts, as well as protecting bright colours from fading in the summer sun.

Simple To Open

The Easy Lift Pull-Cord opening system is designed to make opening up your rotary airer an ultra-easy task; just pull the toggle grip and the arms go up, spreading wide with the built-in, weatherproof canopy open above them.

40 Metre Washing Line

With room for several loads of washing, it’s possible to hang a full size bedsheet or duvet cover at the widest point, and the woven polyester washing line cord will serve you well for years to come.

8 Coat Hanger Loops

At the end of each arm there are two hooks to hold coat hangers, so you can dry shirts and blouses on their hangers if you prefer.

Self-Tensioning Lines

Remaining clean, tidy and tangle free under the canopy, the long lines of the LinoProtect are self-tensioning, staying straight even when full of wet washing straight from the machine.

Weatherproof Canopy

Designed like a garden parasol to extend your outdoor drying season from early spring all the way into the blustery days of autumn, it extends around 19cm further than the outermost line. It’s made from UV-resistant PVC-coated polyester which will protect your laundry from sun-bleaching as well as from raindrops and wind-blown dust. It just wipes clean if it gets dusty and Leifheit can supply a replacement if you should ever need it.

Patented Wind Protection

So that your washing can benefit from a good air dry without fear of it taking off, Leifheit have created and patented a ‘lift-off’ protection system to keep their canopy-topped rotary dryer firmly attached to the ground on a windy day. Just pop the mini panel in place at the base of the sturdy pole and it’ll withstand breezes up to force 4 or 5.

Easy To Close

Just pull the lever on the pole and step back as the arms descend – the canopy folds down over the whole thing just like an umbrella and has a tie cord to keep it neat and tidy between drying sessions.Includes a ground socket that can be concreted into the ground to create a secure base for your washing line.
